Expectations were high for Medica 2009. David had made its relaunch in April at FIBO and already then people saw that new winds were blowing in the company. At Medica the focus was on the David Spine Concept and the star of the show was the EVE system, which is already running in numerous clinics in Germany and Belgium. The speed, smoothness and simplicity of the system left visitors stunned and it has become clear that David Spine Concept with EVE is now the benchmark in the industry.
David also introduced a new therapy version of the AIO. With some simple modification this remarkable machine is a perfect addition for small therapy centers. All the main joints can be trained effectively and safely in a space that takes less than 4 square meters.

Another introduction in the show was the David R2100 Lumbar/ Thoracic extension/flexion unit with the EVE system. This "mini spine concept" offers two of the most important spinal exercises with a very small footprint. The R2100 is targeted at small therapy centers but it also works well in company prevention setting. An ideal situation is where a person has gone through a therapy program with David Spine Concept using the EVE system and then continues the program with familiar exercises and interface of the R2100 while the therapist can follow on-line how the person is progressing and if the program is followed. David introduced the "satellite rehabilitation program" in the 80's, with the EVE system it is becoming a reality.

A short video was shot during Medica showing how easy it is perform mobility and strength tests with the EVE system.
